The
EL Series digital video recorder is designed to be
simple to use yet very reliable.
The DVR comes standard with 250 gigabytes of
storage and can be increased to 1.5 Terabytes or it
can be configured with a Raid 5 redundant array.
Average record time is 14 days or more per
250 gigabytes of storage at 640X480 full quality,
full frame rate, using motion detection.
System operation and control is done through
the included
IR remote control for easy operation.
No keyboard or mouse is needed.
Because we use the H.263 Compression
Algorithm, network transmission is extremely fast,
even when using a telephone line.
System configuration can be performed through
the installed web browser and firmware upgrades can
be done at the unit.
The

about PC based DVRs as well as embedded DVRs, while
